THE DRAGON'S ASCENT WAS FIRST TACKLED
BY SPINE RACE ULTRA RUNNERS
Martin Morrison, 52, from Aberdeenshire, was the first person to complete the Dragon's Ascent, taking an incredible 2 hours and 49 minutes in October 2024.
Record holder Shane Bosworth, 39, did the Ascent in 2 hours and 34 minutes. The ultra runner, of Linton Heath, Derbyshire, was one of a group who took the Challenge after a Montane Spine Race meet at the Green Dragon at Hardraw in October 2025.
